From: Mary Larkin Well said. I took public transportation - a small tap tap from Cap Haitien to Milot and it was an experience of a lifetime. One I cherish and will never forget.
Once the people got used to a blan in their midst they were wonderful. I had three school children one on top of the other piled to the ceiling on my lap.If an older person got on board everyone made sure the children rearranged themselves so the older person had a seat.Hospitality is not something you have to teach a Haitian.
