The Partnership page is a private page belonging to you and your partner where all your interactions take place. It has many tools for getting to know each other and taking action. For example:

? You will receive personal messages, photos and videos. And you can send these to your partner.

? You will receive at least two messages or updates per month from your partner.

? Research on the living conditions and health of your partner will be conducted during the course of the year of your partnership. The update will include several photos.

? Options are available for providing extra help for you partner, including additional schooling and help with immediate needs.



? A 'tree of understanding and action,' to explore, with the whole community of partners, a topic of universal or social significance - and a way to add your own fruit to the tree!

Partnership page - How it works


Your Partnership page is where all of your interaction with your partner takes place. Here you will find the following tools for developing your relationship:

Personal messages and photos
Messages and photos sent to you by your partner, and a simple way to send your own messages. You will receive at least two personal messages per month, and may send up to four messages of your own. These will be translated and delivered within a week. To send photos of your own, use the link on the top right sidebar.

Video clips, Digital stories, and Live video conferences
You will receive a one minute video clip of your partner greeting you shortly after you initiate the partnership. After six months, you will receive a 6 - 10 minute digital story created by them with our help. These stories are on topics most important to your partner, including their childhood, current living conditions, and the progress of the partnership, and may include drawings, photos, maps, or songs. You also have the opportunity to schedule a live video conference with your partner, using the link on the right sidebar.
